FAQ
Switching from Quo: questions
Still unsure? Talk to our team.
Reviewed by the TalkerIQ product team · Updated
Can I switch from Quo before my billing period ends?
Yes. You can set up TalkerIQ and start on a temporary number at any time. Quo says you are responsible for charges until the port completes, so time the port for when you are ready and contact Quo Support about billing afterwards.
Will I lose my OpenPhone number if I switch?
No. Port the number to TalkerIQ and it stays yours. Keep your Quo account active and paid until the port completes so the number never stops working.
Do I need a PIN to port out of Quo?
Quo sends the account number, PIN or password (if applicable) and service address after you submit its port-out request form, usually within 24–48 business hours. The details on the port request must exactly match what Quo provides.
What happens to my Quo call history and texts?
Quo says call history and text messages stay in your account until you close it, and voicemails should be downloaded before porting. Your CRM history is unaffected, and TalkerIQ logs new calls and texts to the same CRM.
Can TalkerIQ help me move my Quo setup?
Yes. Share your phone menus, ring order, business hours and integrations and we will help rebuild them on TalkerIQ while the port is in progress, so everything works the moment your numbers arrive.
How long does porting from Quo take?
Quo says transfers typically take 1–14 days, and the new carrier confirms the port date. You can work on a temporary TalkerIQ number from day one, so there is no downtime.
