What is cloud call center software?
Cloud call center software runs inbound queues, outbound dialing, call recording and reporting in the browser instead of on on-site hardware. TalkerIQ covers IVR, queues, power and predictive dialers, a live wallboard and call recording with AI summaries — with AI voice agents built in to absorb overflow, after-hours calls and first-touch outreach.

Sound familiar?
When volume spikes, I can see the queue growing and there's nobody left to put on the phones.
Running a call center is a constant balance of volume, staffing and quality — usually across too many tools.
Peaks you can't staff for
Monday mornings, campaign launches and outages flood the queue faster than you can add agents.
Agents waiting on the dialer
Outbound reps spend more time listening to rings and voicemail than talking to people.
Quality is a guess
Supervisors can't review enough calls to spot problems until a customer complains.
Too many disconnected tools
One system for the phones, another for the dialer, another for texting and reporting.
How it works
One system for every call on the floor.
Human agents and AI agents share the same queues, numbers, recordings and wallboard.
Calls come in
IVR routes by reason or language into queues and ring groups, with business-hours rules for each.
AutomaticAgents answer
The next available agent picks up in the browser or app, with the caller's history on screen.
Your teamAI absorbs the overflow
When wait times climb or the floor is closed, AI agents answer, resolve or warm-transfer.
AIOutbound runs in parallel
Power and predictive dialers keep reps on live calls; AI agents make the first touch on big lists.
AI + your teamSupervisors steer live
The wallboard shows queues and agent states, so supervisors can move people where the calls are.
Your teamEverything is captured
Recordings, transcripts, AI summaries and dispositions on every call, synced to your CRM.
Automatic
Inbound
Queues that never overflow onto voicemail.
Route callers with an IVR into queues and ring groups, with hold music, position updates and business-hours rules per team. Set the point where AI agents step in — by wait time, queue length or time of day — so peaks are absorbed instead of abandoned.
- IVR, queues and ring groups with per-team hours
- AI overflow triggered by wait time or queue length
- Warm transfer from AI to a person with context
- 12+ languages from one AI agent
How a call moves through TalkerIQ
Ring group
The sales team's phones ring together; first to answer takes it.
Queue
Caller hears position and hold music; next free agent gets it.
AI agent
After hours or overflow: answers, books, or takes a message.
Outbound
More live conversations per agent hour.
Choose the dialing mode for each campaign. Power dialing for steady list work, predictive for large lists where agents should only hear live answers, and AI agents for first touch, re-engagement and after-hours outreach at a scale no team could staff.
- Preview, power and predictive dialing modes
- AI first-touch that hands hot leads to agents
- Voicemail drop and local presence
- Dispositions captured the same way on every call
Four ways to work a call list
Rep reviews the record, then clicks to dial.
Next number dials the moment a call ends.
Dials several lines; reps only get live answers.
AI makes the calls, qualifies, then hands hot leads to reps.
Supervision
Spot problems from the data, not after the complaint.
See every live call across human and AI agents on one floor view. Recordings, transcripts, AI summaries and sentiment scores make reviews and QA fast, so you know which calls to look at first.
- Live floor view of reps, AI agents and campaigns
- Automatic recording with pause for sensitive data
- AI summaries and post-call analysis on every call

A day with TalkerIQ
What does a day on a blended call center floor look like?
A blended inbound and outbound team of thirty agents. Dana supervises the floor.
- Agents log in from the browser
No desk phones: agents use the browser softphone with a headset, and Dana sees everyone on the call center wallboard.
- An inbound spike after a marketing email
Queue length crosses Dana's threshold, and AI agents start answering the overflow instead of letting callers abandon.
- The outbound team goes predictive
The predictive dialer connects agents only to live answers on a large renewal list; every call gets a disposition.
- An escalation reaches Dana
An upset caller asks for a manager. The agent warm-transfers the call to Dana with a summary, and she resolves it.
- A Spanish-speaking caller
The IVR routes by language; when the Spanish-speaking team is busy, the AI agent takes the call in Spanish and summarises it in English.
- After-hours first touch
AI agents call new web leads that came in after the floor closed. Result: overflow absorbed, no abandoned calls left to chase in the morning.
Compare
Cloud call center vs an on-premise PBX and dialer: what changes?
Many floors still run on-site phone hardware with a separate dialer. Here is what moving to the cloud changes.
| On-premise PBX + separate dialer | TalkerIQ cloud call center | |
|---|---|---|
| Where agents work | Desk phones in the building | Browser, desktop or mobile, anywhere |
| Inbound and outbound | Separate systems | One system, same numbers and recordings |
| Peak overflow | Hold music or abandonment | AI agents answer at your threshold |
| Supervision | Often separate tools | Wallboard, recording and AI summaries built in |
| Languages | Depends on staffing | AI agents in 12+ languages |
| Adding seats | Hardware and licences | Add users in the dashboard |

What teams say on G2.
4.74.7 out of 5 · 18 reviews on G2Teams use TalkerIQ to answer every call, qualify leads and hand customers to the right person with context.
“I find TalkerIQ useful because it saves time for my office staff and me by answering calls when we are closed or busy, which makes me feel like I can step away sometimes. It's also more affordable than hiring a full-time receptionist. … Using TalkerIQ, I feel like I can focus more on my family, as I don't have to pick up every phone call, and I can get back to them on my own time.”

Reviewed by the TalkerIQ product team · Updated
Can TalkerIQ run both inbound and outbound?
Yes. Inbound queues, ring groups and IVR, and outbound power and predictive dialing, run in the same system with the same numbers, recordings, dispositions and wallboard.
How do AI agents work alongside human agents?
AI agents share your queues and numbers. You decide when they answer — every call, overflow only, after hours, or as a menu option — and they warm-transfer to a person with a summary whenever a call needs one. On outbound, AI agents can make the first touch and pass qualified contacts to your agents.
Can supervisors monitor AI calls as well as human calls?
Yes. AI calls appear on the wallboard next to human calls, and every AI call has a recording, transcript and summary for review.
Do agents need desk phones or special hardware?
No. Agents answer in the browser softphone or the desktop and mobile apps; a headset is all they need.
Which languages can the AI agents speak?
AI agents can hold conversations in 12+ languages, and the IVR can route callers by language to the right human team.
How is TalkerIQ priced for a call center?
Plans are per user: Starter $39, Growth $79 with the power dialer and queues, and Pro $149 with predictive and AI dialing; Enterprise is custom from 20 users. Annual billing saves up to 25%, and usage is pay as you go. See pricing for details.
What is the difference between a call center and a contact center?
A call center handles phone calls; a contact center also handles other channels such as text messages and chat. TalkerIQ cloud call center software covers calls and two-way SMS from the same numbers, with AI voice and SMS agents on both, so it works as either. Support-focused teams can also see the customer support phone system, and outbound teams the phone system for sales teams.
Can we keep our call center's existing numbers?
Yes. Existing numbers can be ported to TalkerIQ, and a temporary number is available while the port completes, so callers keep dialling the numbers they know. See how to port a business phone number.
