Can I port my business number to TalkerIQ from any provider?

Yes. Business phone numbers can be ported to TalkerIQ from other cloud phone systems, dialers, texting platforms and traditional carriers. You request the port with your current account details and a signed letter of authorization; your old service keeps working until the switch, and you use a temporary TalkerIQ number in the meantime.

Reviewed by the TalkerIQ product team · Updated

How long does it take to switch to TalkerIQ?

Most teams start calling and texting on a temporary TalkerIQ number the same day. Number porting timing depends on the carriers involved; your existing numbers keep working until the port completes, so there is no downtime.

Will I lose my call history when I switch?

Export call logs, texts and voicemails from your current provider before the port completes. Your CRM keeps its history, and TalkerIQ logs new calls and texts to the same CRM.

Can TalkerIQ help rebuild my phone menus and routing?

Yes. Share screenshots or exports of your current IVR menus, ring groups and business hours and we will help rebuild them on TalkerIQ before your numbers arrive.

Can I switch to TalkerIQ from a desk-phone provider or mobile carrier?

Yes. Numbers can usually be ported from traditional carriers, mobile carriers and other VoIP services. We check eligibility before filing the port.

What does TalkerIQ cost after I switch?

Plans are per user: Starter $39, Growth $79 with dialers and campaigns, and Pro $149 with 100 AI minutes per user. Annual billing saves up to 25%.

Should I cancel my old phone service first?

No. Cancelling first can release your number. Keep your current service active until the port to TalkerIQ is complete, then cancel.

Ready to switch?

Book a migration call. We'll confirm your numbers can be ported and plan your routing and AI setup with you.
