To switch from PhoneBurner, sign up for TalkerIQ, start on a temporary number and import your contact lists. If you dial with your own number as caller ID, port it from your carrier to TalkerIQ. For numbers bought through PhoneBurner, ask support@phoneburner.com about porting them out — PhoneBurner's help center doesn't publish a port-out process.

What do you need from PhoneBurner to switch?

Gather these first and the port goes through on the first try.

  • Your number list — note which caller IDs are your own (verified in PhoneBurner's Caller ID Library) and which were bought through PhoneBurner, including number pools.
  • Carrier details for your own numbers — account number, PIN and Customer Service Record (CSR) from the carrier that owns each number.
  • PhoneBurner-number answers — ask PhoneBurner support whether its numbers can be ported out and which account details its carrier needs.
  • Exports — download contacts, dispositions, call history and recordings from PhoneBurner before you cancel.
  • Your setup — your call flows, call groups, voicemail greetings and CRM workflows, so we can rebuild them on day one.

Can I switch from PhoneBurner before my contract ends?

PhoneBurner offers monthly and annual billing. Check your PhoneBurner agreement for its term and renewal date. You can set up TalkerIQ on a temporary number at any time and move fully when you are ready.

Will I lose my caller ID numbers if I leave PhoneBurner?

Numbers you verified as your own caller ID belong to your carrier, not PhoneBurner, so leaving PhoneBurner doesn't affect them — port them to TalkerIQ or keep them where they are. For numbers bought through PhoneBurner, ask PhoneBurner support before you cancel.

Can I port numbers I bought through PhoneBurner?

PhoneBurner's public help center doesn't publish a port-out process, so contact support@phoneburner.com before you cancel and ask which details its carrier needs. Send them to us and we file and track the port.

What happens to my PhoneBurner contacts and call history?

Export contacts, dispositions, call history and recordings from PhoneBurner before you cancel. Import your lists into TalkerIQ or keep working from your CRM — TalkerIQ logs new calls and texts to HubSpot, Salesforce and more.

Can TalkerIQ help me move my PhoneBurner setup?
